Thailand Grand Invitation 2006
In 2006, the Thai nation comes together to celebrate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 60th Anniversary or the Diamond Jubilee of His Majesty’s Accession to the Throne.
This will be a year of regal splendour as Grand Celebrations are held throughout the Kingdom of Thailand to honour His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the ninth ruler of the Royal House of Chakri, the longest-reigning monarch in Thai history and the world’s longest reigning, living monarch.
To honour our beloved king, the Kingdom of Thailand is hosting a year-long Grand Festival of Events nationwide to share our magnificent culture with all our visitors.
